Almost ready!
Well, it's been almost 3 months getting here, but I'm almost done with the body work and priming. Just a little fine details now. Some of the small dents show up better now that it's all gray.
Tonight I finally removed the driver and passenger side windows. What a pain in the as.... VW did not want you to reuse any of the window seals, etc. if you ever broke a window. I read my Clymer book 20 times and never did really figure out what they were saying. In the end, brute force worked best.
The different colored primers are Krylon primer for the time being. I didn't want to get the spray gun out and make a mess for a little touch up. I'll break it out one more time and make it all match.
I should be in touch with the painter this week. No idea how much and how long yet. Anyway, here's a last few shots. Enjoy.
