Let's Paint!
Now that the high build primer is on. It's time to block sand and finally let's paint something.
I went to the paint store and bought 2 quarts or Chianti Red - L31H and two quarts of Pastel White L90D. After discussing with as many folks as I could, I went with PPG Concept Acrylic Urethane. The OMNI AU costs about half as much, but I had heard that it didn't hold up well. After this much work, I paid the extra $200 for the better paint.
I am changing the paint scheme on Sparky from solid Chianti red to Chianti red and Pastel white. That's an original paint scheme for the 1971 Deluxe. So I now building a Deluxe Westy!
