Paint Part II
After having some problems reaching the middle while shooting the primer I was talking to my hot rod friend and he suggested taking the wheels off and setting the bus on blocks just high enough to get a floor jack under it. Man, what a difference 6 or 8 inches makes!
After lot's of sanding, I taped Sparky up and was ready to shoot some paint.
The homemade paint shop is working well and the cardboard boxes fold up for easy storage.
The paint went on very good and so far I've only found a couple of pieces of dust/bugs or whatever the heck it is and one run. The orange peel is minimal so I shouldn't be sanding forever.
My camera was at work for a couple of days so I'm fast forwarding a little on these shots.
Finding the part line between the top of the bus and bottom was tougher than I thought it would be. Eventually, I used a string to find the line, then put tape to the string. The top is Pastel White, but looks like it too much green in it. I plan to hold off painting the rest of the white until after the Classic.
